Rules and Regulations

Venue rules for customers attending NHP Events

1. Purpose

These Rules and Regulations apply to all customers attending events organised or ticketed by NHP Events at any venue in the Sultanate of Oman. By purchasing a ticket or entering the venue, you agree to follow these rules and any additional instructions issued by NHP Events, the venue, or security staff.

2. Tickets and admission

  • A valid ticket is required for entry. Tickets are issued electronically and must be presented as requested at the door.
  • Tickets are valid only for the named event, date, time, and seating or zone shown on the ticket.
  • Keep your ticket and confirmation email until you have left the venue. Lost or unused tickets are not replaced unless NHP Events agrees in writing.
  • Resale or transfer of tickets may be restricted by the event. Fraudulent, duplicated, or altered tickets will be refused and may be cancelled without refund.

3. Entry, identification and security

  • You may be asked to show photo identification that matches the ticket holder details.
  • All guests may be subject to security screening, bag checks, and venue search procedures.
  • Doors typically open before the advertised start time. Latecomers may be admitted only at a suitable break and may miss part of the performance.
  • The venue and NHP Events may refuse entry or remove any person who does not comply with these rules, appears intoxicated, or poses a safety risk.

4. Conduct

  • Treat staff, performers, and other guests with respect. Harassment, abuse, fighting, or disruptive behaviour is not permitted.
  • Remain in the area, zone, or seat assigned to your ticket. Do not occupy reserved or restricted areas.
  • Follow all instructions from ushers, security, and venue staff, including emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Standing on seats, blocking aisles, or obstructing views or exits is not allowed.

5. Prohibited items

Unless the event listing or venue signage says otherwise, the following are not allowed:

  • Weapons, fireworks, flares, lasers, or any item that could cause harm
  • Illegal substances
  • Outside food and drink, glass bottles, or large coolers
  • Professional cameras, audio or video recording equipment, drones, or selfie sticks where the event prohibits them
  • Banners, flags, or promotional material that have not been approved in advance

Prohibited items may be confiscated. NHP Events is not responsible for items left at the door.

6. Age limits and children

  • Age restrictions printed on the event page or ticket apply. Some events are adults only.
  • Children may need their own ticket. Infants and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult where required.

7. Photography, filming and devices

  • Personal phones may be used for still photos unless the event or artist forbids it.
  • Professional recording, livestreaming, or commercial photography requires written permission from NHP Events.
  • Keep devices on silent. Flash photography and recording of the performance may be restricted.

8. Health, safety and accessibility

  • If you have accessibility needs, contact NHP Events before the event so we can advise on venue access.
  • In an emergency, follow staff directions and use marked exits. Do not use lifts unless instructed.
  • Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is only allowed in designated areas if the venue provides them.

9. Changes, cancellations and refunds

  • Artists, line-ups, timings, and seating layouts may change. A change of this kind is not always grounds for a refund.
  • If an event is cancelled or postponed, refund or exchange options will be announced by NHP Events.
  • Tickets are generally non-refundable for change of mind, late arrival, or refusal of entry due to a breach of these rules.

10. Venue-specific rules

Each venue may have additional house rules (dress code, parking, bag size, food service, or photography). Those rules form part of these Regulations when you attend that venue. Please also read any terms shown on the event page at the time of purchase.

11. Liability

You attend the event at your own risk, subject to applicable law in the Sultanate of Oman. NHP Events and the venue are not responsible for personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged, or for loss arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
